Although some people swear that exercising will somehow "sweat out" the flu virus, our advice is to give training a pass when you're under the weather. The common cold, while not life- threatening, is still weakening your overall recovery system. One of the warning signs of overtraining is an increased frequency of colds. Let the body deal with the virus before subjecting it to another grueling workout.
