407. CREATINE AND CAFFEINE - KEEP THEM SEPARATE? A number of recent studies suggest that high doses of caffeine may interfere with creatine absorption. Taking creatine with one cup of coffee is probably no big deal but if you like to pop a couple of caffeine tablets (or a couple cups of coffee) before a workout, it probably makes sense to take your creatine a few hours later.
